The organizing committee of FOSS4G-Asia 2023 is pleased to announce the inaugural David A. Hastings Award recognizing outstanding contributions to the Free and Open Source Software for Geoinformatics (FOSS4G) community in Asia.
Nominees are expected to have contributed to the advancement of FOSS4G within academia, government, and business sectors, as well as to have actively promoted the utilization of FOSS4G in projects across Asia. Additionally, nominees who have played a role in customizing and localizing front-end FOSS4G tools for Asian communities are also eligible.
