Department of Town & Country Planning and OSGEO Sri Lanka is glad to announce that FOSS4G-Asia organized on 02nd-05th December, 2018 at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. The FOSS4G conference series are designed to foster the development and promote the widespread use of open source geospatial technologies. FOSS4G-Asia extends this movement in Asia and welcomes all GIS communities and tribes.
FOSS4G ASIA 2018 is the premier Open Source Geospatial event in Asia after successful editions in 2014 and 2017 in Thailand and India.
FOSS4G ASIA conference series started in 2014 as the first edition of FOSS4G ASIA in Bangkok, Thailand. Second FOSS4G ASIA Conference was held in2017, Hyderabad, India with 112 participants from 18 countries. The conference has now become a main Asian FOSS4G event, gathering people from all over Asia.
