Short Biography
Yantisa Akhadi is the Team Manager of Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) in Indonesia. He is currently leading 9 talented individuals to promote the use of OpenStreetMap, QGIS and InaSAFE in humanitarian response and economic development. He is also actively involved in various FOSS communities in Indonesia.
Title: The OpenStreetMap for Data Preparedness in Indonesia
In the past three years HOT have been working together with Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction to use OSM as a source of exposure data. This data can assist disaster manager to develop a sound contingency plan using InaSAFE and will be valuable input during humanitarian response. HOT also lead the development of various documentation and tools for capacity development and collaboration in disaster management using FOSS.
