	About Organizers, Sponsors and Exhibitors ABOUT JVGC The Japan-Vietnam Geoinformatics Consortium (JVGC) was founded in 2001 to develop and promote Geoinformatics applications and foster cooperation in application of Information and Communication Technologies to problems and issues related to our natural and social environment. IER was established since 1996 as a member of the VNU-HCM. IER is mandated by the Prime Minister with the responsibility for Research, Graduate Training, Technology Transfer in the fields of environment and resources.
